THE ADVICE SERVICE OFFERED:

Nutritional and lifestyle help for mononucleosis
(mononucleosis - mono - epstein barr virus - glandular fever - post viral fatigue / chronic fatigue)

via e-mail. phone and skype - on-going help

glandular fever

After receiving my initial free assessment of your case, which involves completing a detailed questionnaire, followed up by a phone / skype appointment with myself, I would be able to offer you the following service:

Personal and individulised eating and nutritional advice to help you manage your health and energies following mononucleosis

(this may be a very recent case of mononucleosis you are currently recovering from, or on-going problems you have had with your general health and energies, never feeling 100% since your bout of mononucleosis - however long a go it was)

Cost: £95 (UK pounds via cheque or Paypal)

I am currently only working in a very personal and individualised way. 8 years experience has shown me that this is a good and effective way to work with everyone. It does mean that you pay out a little more for my services but you get at least 4 hours of me pouring over your case and really thinking out a good and sensible plan of attack according to your lifestyle and background. I usually also spend about half an hour talking to you during a pre-arranged phone appointment, before you even have to decide to use my servces or not. I will also be honest in telling you whether I think my sort of help is the most appropriate and, if not ,direct you somewhere else.

Once recommendations are put together and sent out to you (they come as a Microsoft Word attachment to an e-mail, around about 30 pages long) you are encouraged to keep in contact with me for as long as you want with updates, questions . . . with no extra charges incurred for my help and time. Even the youngsters in sixth form and at University have found that this way is much better, and involved parents seem much happier if we can keep in touch by e-mail or phone to discuss, right through the recovery process. My services are also idealy suited as a preventative measure against post mononucleosis fatigue and symptom recurrence, if you want to really want to make the best of your recovery. There are many people who come through to me who are not in their teens and early 20's so don't let your age put you off!!

It means that all the advice is personal to you, and I can also consider other health problems that you may have and advise on these as well. Many of you will also have compromised digestive systems (especially the longer term sufferers - this is very common if low health continues).

*NEW SERVICE COMING SOON
Obvioulsly my personal and individualised service may not immediately appeal to everyone. May be you feel it is too expensive, you are not sure about me, you feel that you know quite a lot already and don't need my personalised help or may be you are in the midst of the acute stages of mononucleosis and think it will jut go away.
However, I really would like to help as many people as I possibly can. I feel strongly that there is much you can do to help youself, and getting your eating right is a good foundation.
I am putting together an e-book (around 20 -30 pages long) giving general but comprehensive dietary and lifestyle recommendations and advice for coping and dealing with mononucleosis and its post viral consequences. This is something I have been working on over the last 10 years. It should help as a really good reference to follow. I hope to be able to keep the costs much lower than my full consultation service - £25. In this way, I would be able to help a lot more people, as my full service is extremely time consuming, which does limit the amount of people I can help. This should be completed within the next 6 weeks. Please e-mail me (Gina) at:
help(at)glandularfever.me.uk (change the at sign to @) and I will put you on my list to contact when completed.
